Aaliyah Dana Haughton exploded into fame in 1994, after she released her debut Album Age Ain't Nothing But a number. The singer was only 15 at when the album was released and it went on to become Gold. This collaboration was heavily inspired by R. Kelly, and helped put her on the map. The year 1996 saw her release her sophomore album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album featured the number one hit track If Your Girl Only knew. With the debut of the album Aaliyah won international acclaim for her work as an R&B performer. In 2000 she starred in the romantic action movie Romeo Must Die alongside martial artist Jet-Li. Joel Silver spotted her in the awards ceremony. The year 2002 was the time she was in the Anne Rice-based horror film Queen of the Damned. In 2003, she starred as a character in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. She has been awarded four Grammy nominations in 1999 and 2001. 2002 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is an Indian-American from the one generation who was born in Connecticut. Mann, her stage name is an acronym for Mankad her surname when she married. Aarti has both Aarti Majumdar as well as Aarti Munn as her professional names. While her initial career was dominated by minor movie and TV parts, she gained notoriety in the late 2000s. Her other noteworthy works include Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. In addition, she was a part of several commercials, including Volvo and other major automobile brands. She is currently working on her acting career in Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
