Jill AND Mary

Jillian Nellie Hennely was born 25 November, 1968. She is a talented Canadian singer and actress who has contributed a major contribution to American TV. Her fame is due to her outstanding performances on the American TV series Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan wherein she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also displayed her acting prowess in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and independent movies Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class and The Acting Class, in which she worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. Hennessy started her acting career alongside her sister in the role of twin call-girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. Her Broadway debut came in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she played the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus. Her breakthrough came after the season ended in the form of a role as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. Parker is a regular in a number of series and films, among them RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys of the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. For these roles she won a Golden Globe Award in 2006 as well as an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker was awarded the 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress in the Broadway show Proof.
