Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She was best known for the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). Also, she played the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton, in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida, by the mother and father Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. As a child, Aubrey participated in her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. The valedictory speech she delivered was that of her class at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University accepted her but accepted her entry two times and the third time she was accepted for the role she played in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and played an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She also appeared in TV movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). Peeples was a part of the cast on a major recurring role in the second season of drama series Nashville in which she played Layla Grant. In the year 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples among the finest actors under the age of twenty-one in September 2014.
